The name "Uluwatu" loosely translates to "Lands End Rock", which is a pretty accurate description of the place. Located about 45 minutes from Denpasar Airport, Bali, anyone visiting the island would be missing out if this place isn't on their itinerary.

Beaches, clifftop paradises and slow days - Ulutwatu is the beach mecca of Bali. If a good old-fashioned chill-out time is on your list, there's no better place to do it. Whether it's a secluded cove like Green Bowl, a sunrise at Padang Padang or a swim at Bingin beach (that's just a fraction of what's on offer), your perfect beachside getaway is pretty much guaranteed.

To accompany the laid-back beach vibe, Ulutwatu has developed a cafe culture to match that food fanatics will love. From breakfast to sunset, you can (and should) indulge in pretty much anything - pancakes, eggs, smoothie bowls, burgers, tacos, seafood... you have to try it to believe it! PLUS... the prices are super cheap, with even the most popular (and beautifully decorated) restaurants charging between €5 and €10 for a slap-up feast.

Uluwatu is also home to some of the most luxurious accommodation Bali has to offer (and let's be honest, the competition for that title is pretty fierce on this island), offering unparalleled views over the sea thanks to their cliff-top location. As you can see from our design, pool areas are often found jutting out of the rock on wooden platforms to give guests an unforgettable experience on their dream vacation.

Bali is often praised as an Indonesian paradise, and we have to say that's a pretty damn accurate way to describe it!
