Whatever name you know Los Angeles by - LA, City of Angels, Lala Land... you know what they're talking about. Home of Hollywood, entertainment mecca, birthplace of reality television and site of palm-lined streets filled with designer shopping experiences.

The sun always shines in LA with hot temperatures between July and September, only dropping to between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius in the coolest months. Combined with the fact that there are a maximum of 35 rainy days per year, it's not hard to see why residents always seem to be in a good mood.

Los Angeles has hosted the Olympic Games twice (and will host a third in 2028), receives 50 million visitors a year (42.5 million of whom are from the United States), and is home to 75 miles of coastline with some of Southern California's best beaches, including Malibu, Long Beach (both used as sets for the '90s show Baywatch), Santa Monica, and Venice's "Muscle Beach," which is credited with starting the 20th-century physical fitness boom in the United States.

The scene shown in our design is the familiar Los Angeles cityscape framed by the many suburban neighborhoods and districts, of which there are 100. A real view of this is best seen from the Griffith Observatory, which is both a gateway to the locations of Los Angeles and the cosmos! From here you have great views of the Hollywood Sign, the Los Angeles Basin, Downtown and the Pacific Ocean.
