Standing majestically before our design, the Statue of Liberty has always been a beacon of hope and freedom for the entire United States. Thousands of immigrants want to see Lady Liberty as they cruise down the Hudson River and feel instantly at ease. Tourists visiting Liberty Island enjoy stunning views of the Manhattan skyline as well as the impressive stature up close. The Freedom Tower (officially called One World Trade Center) stands proudly behind it as a party guest of the New York skyline. As the tallest building in the United States, it houses a publicly accessible observation deck that offers breathtaking views of the city. New York is home to many iconic characters of fiction, making certain parts of the city feel like you've landed on the set of a movie. For example; Visit Central Park and see the setting for scenes from Home Alone 2, Sex and the City, Enchanted, The Avengers, and many more. There are websites that can tell you exactly what and where is being filmed in the city at any given time, so you may even have the chance to appear on set during your visit. We can't possibly talk about New York without mentioning Manhattan's food or nightlife. The city is famous for many cuisines - cheesecake, hot dogs, pizza by the slice, bagels with a slice of cream cheese, and more. New York is often referred to as "the city that never sleeps" because of its fabulous clubs, bars, and restaurants that are open 24 hours a day. Did you know that most New Yorkers don't live in Manhattan? The largest population now lives in a suburb of Brooklyn, just across the bridge, which is a bit more affordable and gives residents a better view of that skyline.
