Bondi Beach is probably one of the most famous beaches in the world and one of Australia's most visited tourist spots. It's not hard to see why. It was named Bondi after the Sydney district in which it is located and was originally spelled "Boondi", an Aboriginal word meaning "surf" in English.
Bondi has a radical past and has been at the forefront of efforts to combat indecency in beachwear. It was a key site for protests in 1907 to oppose proposed dress standards for visitors, and in 1951 actress Jean Parker was escorted off the beach when the now legendary Aub Laidlaw found that she was dressed “too scantily”.
We chose to include part of the Bondi Icebergs pool in this design, which is one of the most photographed swimming pools in the world. As part of the Bondi Icebergs Club, it offers a prime oceanfront spot with stunning views over the beach. Swimmers are often hit with a refreshing spray of seawater when a particularly big wave crashes over the pool barrier. However, there are also some 'drier' ways to enjoy Bondi Icebergs - a poolside kiosk offers a shaded view over the beach while you enjoy a drink or snack, as well as sunbathing areas further away from the water.

All our products are printed and framed to order and usually ship within 2 business days. Standard delivery takes 3-5 working days.
All prints are securely packed in postal tubes, carded envelopes, or padded in cardboard boxes ensuring print safety.
Returns:
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
